I was talking to a couple of friends at church the other day about our new finds from recent shopping trips, and one of the girls started sharing about her problem with this cute pink Banana Republic dress.
Apparently, the hemline of this cute and elegant pink dress is just a little bit too short for our desire to be modest, and it just doesn’t go with a legging. Now she’s stuck with cute dress and doesn’t know what to do with it.
She thinks all the dresses in Banana Republic are just a little tiny bit too short. I agree, actually I think every store’s dresses are just a little tiny bit too short for our standard.
There are so many times I tried on cute dresses, and fall in love with them, but then have to leave them behind in the dressing room because the one-inch-too-short hemline. This just makes me so sad. I want to be able to wear what’s on the market.
Well, there actually is a solution to it. I don’t know if you have heard of Vintage Hem, it’s a slip you put under your skirt or dress that extends the hemline and also adds some trendy factors.

A mom of three daughters, Jennifer wanted to invent something that was never created before, something that helps women stay modest yet trendy and fashionable at the same time. With her best friend Janine Ottley, they put ideas into reality, and invented this slip that is meant to be shown.
Here are some of my personal favorites. The “Silver Spoon” Slip,
“This straight slip from Vintage Hem is is the perfect adornment to you hemline. The grey color allows you to participate in the spring's hottest color trend. Stacked rows of pewter ribbon are a classy embellishment to your skirts and dresses.”
And this ultra romantic looking “Effie's Dessert, Lady Vanilla” slip.
“This romantic ivory slip adds a decadent flair to your dressing. It is a particular help when styling your longer tunic shirts you usually pair with leggings or jeans. This slip makes today's shorter fashions a wearable dress.”
Last but not least, the “Have a Ball” slip.
“With Vintage Hem's slip, Have a Ball, a woman can make any dress fit for a party. This slip has a gathered, double layer of tulle that flairs out from underneath your a-line dress or even a sassy pencil skirt. Should the need arises to dress for an impromptu celebration, you will be prepared to rejoice in style with your Have a Ball slip.”
Here it is, something so creative and renovated, and something that is going to change our wardrobe forever. So hurry up, go check them out and join the club of hemline worry free shopping. Also check them out on their blog, http://www.vintagehem.blogspot.com/ where you can find out who loves their products, giveaways, and more.
One more thing guys, I have an exciting giveaway coming up tomorrow. I wonder if you can figure out what we are giving out… So don’t forget to come back and find out if you are right.

I love those! I wonder how much I would really wear them, hmmm. I still love them though!
I know I have three dresses that would be perfect with the "siliver spoon" slip, so I won't have to worry if I'm showing too much when I chasing Tyler around at church.
I WANT THEM.
